Bands are a Girl's Best friend--and I Don't Mean the Ones with Diamonds so let's start sweating!

It's that time of year when men decide to get brave and pop the question (Valentin's Say) and boom! You're engaged! But let me tell you, although those bands may be beautiful and perhaps filled with diamonds, they won't do the wonders that booty bands will do for you. I love training with booty bands because they are a piece of equipment you can take with you anywhere and make your workout more challenging, yielding to better results and that tight peach we all want.


According to Bailey Ducommun, NASM-certified personal trainer, who is also the owner of Body Balance, adding bands to your booty workout will make the workout 10 times harder--and as we know 'no pain, no gain'. Today I want to share with you why booty bands are a girl's best friend. Here are 7 exercises that will make it burn!


What you need: a booty band, a mat and water


Directions: Get your Gymboss app and input these set of exercises so you don't have to worry about keeping the time, the app simply prompts you when you're on and when you take your break. Each exercise will be performed for a total of :40 seconds followed by a :20 second break. Repeat each set for a total of three times before moving on to the next exercise.


1. Banded Glute Bridge with Pulse-outs :40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x


2. Banded Standing Glute Kick-backs ::40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x


3. Banded Hip-thrusts :40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x


4. Banded Donkey Kicks :40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x per leg


5. Banded Side-to-Side Lunges :40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x


6. Banded Single-leg Glute Bridge :40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x per leg


7. Banded Side Leg-Raises :40 on rest for :30 and repeat total of 3x
